new home

Happy Holidays everyone. I have a new job and home this coming year. I'm back to being a librarian and it feels good to be doing something that I like again. My new home is a small town and seems to have a lot of activities for the people living here. I think I will be o.k. School starts again soon and I'm not ready at all. I don't even have my books yet nor is the new programs working on my computer. sigh. Well, I did get a new bed so at least I will sleep well.

last day

Well, my last at my old job was just like any other day. I have finish with my studies for this year and must get ready for next winter term. The big thing is moving!!!!! Now, I don't know how to start and I'm excited too. sigh.

awhile

So, I know I have been gone for a while and haven't written much of anything in months. Life can do that to you. I have good news....I have a new job back in my old field..YAY! I start work on the 27th of Dec. and I will be in a new city as well. Still in Fl just not in Jacksonville. My one big problem with school is that the new system still is not working on my computer and I really need it to work. Well, that's all for me at the moment.

Work

Hi,

I'm at a new school for ISSP this year and so far its ok. My feet hurt from all the standing and walking I'm doing right now until I get kids. So, I'm sure what kind of kids I will be dealing with. It's all about waiting right now. Class at Nova started as well and I have a lot of reading to do. I hope its interesting other wise it will put me to sleep.

The End Of Summer

Well, as you can see writing on a blog is not something I'm use to doing. Sharing my thoughts with others isn't something I like to do. I don't mind speaking my mind and I usually say the first thing that comes to mind, but to write it down is a bit hard for me. Catching up on school work is hard when for six weeks your doctor says do nothing but rest. I think my brain is still on pause. So,

So............I was a very bad student. I didn't do any school work today. sigh :\

Fast

This weekend went by rather fast. I got some work done and started a knit project which usually helps me think, but not this time. Now it just seems like one more thing to do. I need to get the fun back into my life. The summer is almost over and I still have a lot to do. I know I can do it, I just know I can.
Well, Leverage is on tonight and I love that show. To bad they can't con my teachers into giving me all A's.
Found some articles don't know which one I want to use yet, but I'm getting there.

It's very easy to find articles on my subject which is a good thing, but finding one that has good easy to understand information is hard. My Friday was like that. Lots of articles to eat, but very unsatisfying. Oh well, I have no choice but to keep trying.

Well...

I love this place. Actually, I love any kind of bookstore. I will start doing homework any minute now I promise. I have been reading about different reading techniques and it's really interesting. I never really thought about a technique when it came to reading. I just picked up a book that I like and started reading. It's one of the things I don't understand about kids today. They all seem to hate reading and that just breaks my heart, because to me reading was a adventure and still is. So, what's to hate about it? Hmmm.

This is a blog for my summer class as a EDD student with NOVA. This summer has been pretty bad for me because I was very ill. I'm late at getting this started and I'm not big with writing down my thoughts so, work with me a little. I'm sure that I will get use to it.
